Monaco International Rally - Lancaster California

We arrived in Lancaster California after an uneventful journey of 5 hours and just a little more than 250 miles from Laughlin Nevada. After getting parked and settled, we strolled around meeting and greeting many of our Monaco friends. Since we got up before dawn to make this journey, we were wiped out (remember we are retired!). We grabbed a quick burrito and hit the sack early.

The pictures below might give you an idea of just how many of our friends we are here with. Of course, we don’t know everyone here - but we are working on that! I took these pictures from the roof of our coach - wow, there sure are a lot of us here! Later today we will get an early peek at the vendor’s that are here and then we will be participating in the "free alcohol and food" that the dealer’s are providing - while we peruse all the new coaches on display. They are hoping we will have a weak moment and buy a new coach - who knows …. Sooner or later they will have something that we just can’t live without - - - hope they aren’t holding there breath!

Reading your blog and seeing the pictures makes me miss being at the rally even more! :-( Oh well, guess we'll be at the pre-rally in Michigan or where ever it is!
