It’s really official now - we have our name on the mailbox….and we have started getting junk mail! At least we can stop the mail anytime we want.
Andy completed the wiring of the decorative lights along the front of the lot to a photo-electric cell so they will automatically come on at dusk and go off at dawn. No more trips in the dark to turn them off or on.
We purchased a little chest freezer - wow does it make a lot of difference in the amount of stuff we can buy! Might not be such a good thing, but at least it gives the freezer in the coach a break!
We were not impressed with the tiny metal cabinet that was over the Washer/Dryer - so we went to Home Depot and got what we needed to install some shelves. I think it was a great idea! Now I have lots of space for storing STUFF. Notice all the important stuff - like the wine!
This past Thursday, we spent most of the day wandering around probably the largest “swap meet” I have ever seen. Normally “swap meets” are a bunch of people trying to sell their used stuff - this one is all new stuff and lots of RV type stuff! It is probably at least three times bigger than the big tent at Quartzsite in January! We had a great time and will return again many times while we are here in Yuma.
On Sunday, we were joined by our good friends Lew & Dottie Anderson. It is sure strange not sitting all alone anymore - and a lot more fun! Lew & Dottie are also in the market for a lot here in the foothills of Yuma - we are sure hoping that they find one and get it! We have enjoyed some wonderful happy hours, good food and an exciting game of Mexican Train! We will be sad to see them leave in a couple days.
We will be heading for Pio Pico on Monday morning to finish up some doctor stuff and visit with all our friends and family there.
We want to wish everyone a Wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Eat lots of turkey and remember to give thanks for all the blessings we are each given. We are especially thankful for all our wonderful friends and family - sure wish we could be with every one of you! We love you all……

What a great couple of hosts!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the 4 nights in Yuma and the company we had the privilege of sharing. A lot of good times and some great memories!! Now, if we can only maintain our patience until the good news arrives that we are the owners of a lot just a block away from the Clarksons! Thank you, Andy & Linda, for a great break with you guys!!
