Update from Idaho Falls Idaho....

Well - what is it that they say about us Full-Timers??? Be flexible and enjoy life!!!!! At least that is our motto - and it is a good thing we think that way most of the time. Yet another obstacle has confronted us - seems like this is our year for obstacles! Yesterday morning we set out for our "day's business" and the Jimmy would not start. This is not anything really new for us, so prepared as we are we hauled out the battery charger/starter and got it set up and plugged in to jump start ourselves. This time it did not work! So Andy took the battery out of the Jimmy and my Sister Dee took us down to the local GMC dealer to get a new battery. To our great surprise, there isn't a battery available anywhere around Idaho Falls and we would have to wait until Tuesday for one to arrive from Salt Lake City. Being flexible as we are, we said ok and proceded to cancel reservations and resign ourselves to staying a few days longer - oh what a sacrafice! In any case, we all went to the Coach and made a Meatloaf Sandwich for lunch, went shopping for Ice Cream to put on the Raspberry Cobbler at dinner and returned to our "home away from home" for the evening. After returning home, Andy decided to fiddle with the battery and finally managed to get it jump-started by using my Brother-in-law's truck! He got the Jimmy turned around so at least it will be easier to get a tow if the battery fails again before Tuesday. So, at this point our travel schedule has changed and we are in a holding pattern as far as the battery goes. Stay tuned for more of the life and times of the Clarkson's - not every adventure is a good one!
