Today we travelled another 200 miles to the North - The other half of the "middle of nowhere"! The tiny towns are few and far between with most being almost ghost towns or just slums - very depressing. This was the view most of the trip - The hills were pretty, but kind of boring.
Finally something really pretty to look at! These snow-covered mountains are the back side of Yosemite National Park in California.
Tonight we are back at least close to civilization! We are camped at the Desert Rose RV Park in Fernley Nevada. This is a very nice park at a reasonable price, so we will be resting here for two nights - of course we will visit the Fallon Naval Air Station tomorrow for one last shopping trip to a base before heading up into Oregon where there are NO bases! I can feel withdrawals coming on.....
