Baby it's getting warm!!!!

Yesterday the high hit 103 here in Yuma. We are still loving it, but if this keeps up we may decide to leave earlier than currently planned. The saving grace is that the humidity was only 4% - so as they always say ... "It's a DRY heat so it isn't so bad!". That statement is actually very true.


The past few days we have been blessed with a visit from our good friends Andy & Vivian Brumbagh. We think that it is their fault we are having unseasonably HOT weather! Of course I am kidding and even if it was their fault they are always welcome on our lot!


We spent the past three days enjoying each other's company, some great meals - including a trip to Lute's Casino and the Daybreaker's Cafe, and a much deserved Happy Hour each evening. They left this morning and we already miss having them here with us! We wish them safe travels to Kodiak Alaska and back to the Desert South West - and will be looking forward to their return in the Fall.
