Loaded and ready to hit the road!

This morning dawned as another absolutely beautiful Idaho morning. Temps should be in the mid 80's today, but began closer to 40 earlier this morning. The air is so fresh and clean and cool, we are almost not looking forward to leaving. By noon the truck is loaded, tied down and locked up tight - the Auto Transport is connected and everything is checked out by the U-Haul people. I didn't get a picture, but at the end we were joined by my two Brother's, Robert and Lawrence, and they accelerated the whole process - that is likely the reason we got done and out of there so early!

Almost ready to hit the road. The "Auto Transport" is hitched up and ready to have the Jimmy loaded in the morning. In response to Rod's comment (Hi Rod!) - we may not have much experience with a "truck", but we do have experience with large vehicles and we can only hope that it will help us get to Yuma in one piece! We did purchase the "SafeMove" and "SafeTow" coverage just in case. Our truck already has lots of "dings" and "dents" - so it was just easier than to document all the previous damage. With the two of us, one outside and one inside, we should be just fine!

More from the road - tomorrow evening we will be back in Mesquite Nevada. The Virgin River Motel & Casino is a great place to stay. Very nice rooms, good value in the price, a wonderful buffet, lots of room to park large vehicles and maybe just perhaps a jackpot on one of their machines???? We can only hope on that last one. We have been lucky in the past - maybe one more time? We will see.....
