We wish all our Family and Friends a wonderful and prosperous new year in 2012. We spent a quiet evening at our little piece of paradise with some friends. In this picture is me, Andy,Flor, Ron, Lew, Ken, Nita and Dottie. This was taken after we stuffed ourselves with a New Year's Eve dinner complete with Peach Upside-down Cake and Ice Cream for dessert. We celebrated with the East Coast, then half of us called it a night. The other half of us celebrated with Arizona then called it a night also. New Year's Day we all reassembled for our traditional meal of Ham, Black-eyed Peas, Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese - dessert this day was Rum Cake and of course more Ice Cream! I think each one of us likely gained about 10 pounds in just two days! We all had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to a similar celebration a year from now.
