This morning we said goodbye to our sweet (meaning free) parking space in Coburg at the Camp Monaco Service Center. After topping off our fuel, we travelled a whopping 25 miles North to the little town of Harrisburg Oregon and the River Bend RV Resort. This picture looks like we are kinda jammbed in - and our particlar row is pretty close, but overall this park is large and most sites are very spacious.
This resort sits on the banks of the beautiful Willamette River. They have a beautiful venue which includes the RV Park, a Motel, Swimming Pool and Spa and a main building with large meeting rooms overlooking the river. They have many Weddings and other gatherings here. This river is ony one of a few in the U.S. that flows toward the North. The first picture is looking to the North and the second picture is looking toward the South - towards Harrisburg.
By the afternoon, there were at least 20 Romer Monaco's parked and ready to party! The Monaco Romers will be serving as Bartender's for the upcoming Monaco International Pre-Rally in Salem Oregon this coming week. We will finally be one of the people that the rally-goers really love - their Bartenders!
