After being on the Oregon Coast for a week, we finally made the effort to actually visit the beach. It was a beautiful day, not like most of the ones previous. In the background you see the "haystack" rock at Pacific City - not to be confused with the much bigger Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach to the North. The sand dune back of us is part of the Cape Kiawanda State Park - looks like fun, but a tough climb. We did not attempt that.
