Needing to do some shopping and banking, we headed North back to Lincoln City. The day was cloudy, so we figured we would get our errands out of the way. On the way back to Newport we stopped in the little town of Depot Bay. This is a very pretty little town that boasts to having the World's Smallest Harbor!
I will say that the harbor is quite small, but the World's smallest? Well, that is likely subjective. There were large vessels in there and the entrance looks quite tricky - all in all it is a very scenic place to be sure!
After stopping in at the Sea Hag restaurant for a taste of their Clam Chowder (which was excellant!), we enjoyed the 5 minutes that the sun appeared this day admiring the beautiful Pacific Ocean - then headed back to our camp in South Beach.
