The front door is history….
The new front wall is almost done.
Demolition of the old front wall almost complete. It turns out that this demolition was a little more complicated than anyone anticipated. It seems that the old building was out of square on two sides - almost 1 ½ inches on the West side and a little less on the East side. It took some doing to get everything back into line. This just reinforces our realization that the original construction - even thou it was done under a valid permit and inspected - was done by real amateurs!! Unbelievable……

No windows or doors - but looking good!
Framing is ready for inspection!
Electricians and Plumbers are due on-site on Monday and Tuesday. The next inspection is probable for Wednesday. According to our General Contractor we are “on schedule” - whatever that means.
Progress is a wonderful thing!!!!

Linda - I need a little info on San Diego area - do you know of any areas with rv park and great fishing???? Or - something within close proximity of each other???? We keep looking for a winter home and like Naples, FL, Port Isabel, TX and Yuma - but not one place has it all....... I think we're dreaming too much : )
