We have spent another wonderful day with good friends before leaving Oregon for this year. Today we traveled North to Bend to meet up with our friends for an afternoon of Beer Tasting and Dinner. We are pictured here at our last stop of the day at the Silver Moon Brewing Company. Left to right are Me, new friends Tom & Marion Braum, wonderful "old" friends Lew & Dottie Anderson, and Andy. We started the afternoon shopping for Beer at the local Fred Meyer store. From there we headed to the Deschutes Brewing Company for some yummy samples - including the absolutely wonderful Black Butte Porter XXII !!! I will miss this yummy brew.... Then we headed downtown to the Bend Brewing Company for some more good brews and good food for dinner. After dinner we weren't quite done, so we headed to the Silver Lake Brewing Company for a "nightcap". Sadly, it was time to bid farewell to our friends - we are heading South in the morning and they are all heading West to Eugene. We will miss all our friends that are here in Oregon and will be hoping to see them all again sooner or later in Yuma this Winter!
