Today we had a “gathering” at our site at the Cascade Meadows RV Resort, combining our San Diego friends with our Yuma friends! The day was beautiful, not nearly as windy as predicted. The sun felt great, but by the end of the day the cool air was a little much. Still, the weather here in Central Oregon has been absolutely wonderful the whole time we have been here.
We all had a good time socializing and snacking before dinner. Our dinner this day consisted of Brats, Mac & Cheese and Vegetable Salad. All the wonderful desserts were brought by our friends - everyone over-indulged in the decadence of it all!
After dinner there was a rousing game of Dice - sometimes called Farkle and sometimes called Greed! Whatever you want to call it - it is always fun!
A good time was had by all and we are so blessed to have such good friends! We missed our friends that couldn’t join us this day, but fortunately for us wherever we travel to we always manage to have friends around to help us celebrate life!
