The same big full moon that rose last night was still up at 7am - a little early for us retired types, but it was not a restful night and it was time to get up. The beautiful moon was a sight to behold for sure. We received unsetteling news about one of our good friends who was recently diagnoised with Stage-4 Lung Cancer, so rest was not easy this night. We have hope and we hope that our prayers will help in some small way. Anyway, the morning was beautiful for us here in the desert South West - we really need to be thankful for the beauty in our lives.
Unfortunatly for us, the wind has arrived - as predicted. It is amazing how accurate the "weather-guessers" are here in the desert. Fortunately for us, they predicted that the wind-advisory would end by 9PM this day - the wind had "died to calm" by about 7pm and tomorrow appears to be a wonderful day back to bright sunny skies, temps in the 70's and NO-Wind! We will be back in paradise soon.....
