This morning dawned bright and sunny with calm winds - a perfect day for travelling. When we "dry-camp" in the desert, we raise our solar panels to make better us of the sun to keep our batteries charged. Since Andy is still a little under the weather, I get the opportunity to see if I can get them back flat on the roof for travel. I am successful and soon we are all packed up and ready to get "On The Road Again"!
As expected, we are in the middle of a big traffic jam. No "off-roading" for us today - the coaches wouldn't have a chance in the wash, so we just have to deal with this mess. Fortunately, the traffic wasn't all so bad this morning and we were on our way South in short order.
While we are stuck on the overpass heading out of town, we enjoy a last look at the crazyness of Quartzsite for 2011. We shall return - as always - and enjoy it next year again.
Safely back in Yuma and partially set up, we enjoy another campfire. Good times with good friends - life is indeed GOOD!

Looks like you guys stay to busy traveling to make quilts. That is an evening or early morning project for us.
Sounds like everyone had a great time in Quartzsite this year. Look forward to seeing you guys again in the future.
