Getting ready to launch and get out on the lake. We are launching at Paulina Lake just out of LaPine Oregon. The weather was supposed to be good today, but we are doubtful as the clouds are pretty thick. Who cares? Not us!
This is Ken's Brother, Junior, with Miss Katie - patiently waiting for all the "stuff" to be done so we can get launched and on our way.
The first photo is of our "Skipper" Ken (notice all the snow in the background!). This is the middle of July - come on it is supposed to be warm, right? The second photo is of our "FirstMate" Nita and Miss Katie all bundled up and ready for the exciting ride. The third photo is Miss Katie in her "life jacket"! I didn't know that they made a Life Jacket for doggies - what a great thing. She didn't mind it at all, but it was funny watching her trying to get thru small places and not understanding why her "fatter" body wouldn't go.

Nita, Katie and I huddling to try to keep warm. The sun was in and out - and felt wonderful when it was out. We drifted in the middle of the lake while Nita served us a wonderful "snack" - it was actually a lunch, but called a snack. We all filled our tummies and quenched our thirst with a bottle of beer before heading back to the dock.
